Obiettivi

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
To develop applying knowledge and understanding of managing inter-organizational relations and event management.
Knowledge and understanding: The student should be able to understand the basic concepts of such course, with peculiar reference to organizational issues of networks and event management.
Applying knowledge and understanding: The student should be able to apply the acquired knowledge to organizational diagnosis and design.
Making judgments: The student should be able to use autonomously the acquired knowledge solving specific issues, such as the analysis of organizational issues and the identification of more suitable coordination mechanisms and organizational forms of networks and events.
Communication: the student is expected to give clear and in-depth answers to the questions of the written exam and oral exam.
Lifelong learning skills: the student should be able to show a good learning ability, by widening, for example, his/her knowledge with the use of relevant bibliographic references. The student will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained in previous courses integrating them with the additional professional skills that characterize the course.

Contenuti

Part 1 (24 hours): Managing inter-organizational relations; strategic alliances and networks; regional networks and clusters.

Part 2 (24 hours): Global production and supply networks; innovation and project networks.

Part 3 (24 hours): Event studies; event management in FAF fields; event design; planning and management of event.

Metodi didattici

Lectures, tutorials, and case studies analysis.
Attending students will be able to participate in group work, which output will be discussed in the classroom.

Verifica dell'apprendimento

A written in class exam of 3 open ended questions (5 points each, maximum 15 points) and an dialogue for those who passed the written exam (9 of 15 points minimum).
Attending students will be able to participate in group work, which evaluation of which allows them to obtain further 4 out of 30 points.
